This week (week 3) we debuted a brand new camp.. Worse Case Scenario. This camp pushed campers, or the survivors as we like to call these campers, to their limits with scenarios that would scare even us workers! Each day the campers arrived with excitement as they awaited that days worse case scenario.
BEAR ATTACK: This worse case taught campers how to identify bears and what to do if they stumbled upon one, how to use bear spray and how to make a splint when hiking (just in case someone got a "broken leg" later in the day...). The big finale was a bear attack that resulted in a pretty serious "injury". I don't want to give away too much of the excitement but let's just say they were running for their lives by the end of this day!
ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE: This worse case scenario was more fun than it was educational. We gave the survivors some zombie facts that were useful for some of the games we played and then the survivors taught us some things that they knew about zombies. The zombies took over On Target and its a good thing it wasn't real because we didn't do a very good job "escaping town".
SHARK ATTACK: In honor of shark week, and because I was heading up the planning for this camp, we had to have a shark day. It was a FINtastic day filled with Jaws music and a really intense game of Sharks and Castaways (a new camp favorite). We even had a special visitor today to greet the kids at check-in. This was my favorite day because I got to wear a shark fin and scare all of my campers (also got to show my competitive side)!!
ESCAPE ROOM: Delaney did an amazing job planning an exciting escape room activity for the kids on this day. The escape room was full of riddles that the survivors had to figure out in order to find keys that unlocked the next clue and eventually would lead to their escape from the room. Each camp will feature a new escape room theme. The possibilities are endless!
We would love to have your kids in our upcoming Worse Case Scenario camp and to test them in some crazy new scenarios! We are planning some really exciting things and can't wait to make new memories with our next group of survivors!!
Thank you for reading and for your continued support! We hope to see you very soon. God bless!!
